Arkansas native singer/songwriter and musician, Leta Joyner, discovered her love for playing music at 7, plucking away at a toy guitar in her bedroom. Self-taught, she acquired a knack for musicianship organically, picking up a few more instruments like drums, bass, and piano along the way. Over the years, she became influenced by guitarists like John Mayer and vocalists such as Adele and in more recent years, Billie Eilish and Yebba. Leta finds inspiration to compose songs through her own life experiences, often while once again plucking at a guitar. Releasing original music has become a way to share a small piece of herself and connect with others. When performing live, Leta is a crowd-pleaser among different ages, playing classic acoustic covers with a modern take at a variety of venues and events. She loves the way audience members light up when they hear her play a new song they love - or how the nostalgia hits when she plays a song they listened to in high school. Fellow musicians have described Leta’s music as, “awesome guitar arrangements” with “astounding vocal performances.” “Original songs, covers (and great cover choices) sung well with awesome riffing and lead playing on guitar.” Follow Leta on Instagram to catch her playing live. Her released original music is available for streaming on all platforms.
